Something to Blog About: The Venesian Inn

Updated: August 16, 2012
The Venesian Inn, located in Tontitown, is a landmark in NWA. It has been open for almost 70 years. When My parents attended the U of A back in the 60's - it was one of the few restaurants around and they would often go there when their parents visited or for dates. And all these years later - it is still a popular place to eat.  If you are new in the area or have lived her for years and have never been - it's worth the trip out on 412 to visit.

They are famous for serving spaghetti and fried chicken. This seems an odd combination but trust me - it is a GOOD combination.  They also have the BEST rolls that they will also sell to you. Add some honey to those rolls and there is no need for dessert. The menu also includes Italian favorites like Lasagna, Fettucine Alfredo and Ravioli.

I love the ambiance at the Venesian Inn. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed much inside in the last 70 years and that's part of the charm.  Some of the waitresses have been there forever too.

Tontitown is the NWA "little Italy" and the Venesian Inn is one place you don't want to miss.
