Event Details:
On November 14th-15th, 2009, respected martial arts experts around the world will hold simultaneous events to raise money for children in need. The World Fighting for Lives Weekend was the idea of a group of martial artists in Finland that operate Fighting for Lives; an initiative to hold seminars for local children's charities. Guro John R. Malmo will be hosting a local seminar on Saturday, November 14th as part of this great event. The seminar will be conducted at Phillips Park in Bentonville from 10am - 4pm. A donation of $50 is recommended. Donations of any amount will also be accepted from those that are unable to attend. All proceeds will be donated to the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter. Anyone 18 years of age or older may participate. Mr. Malmo will be covering topics from the Filipino Martial Arts and Kuntao Silat.
