The Benton County Quorum Court at a committee Of 13 in a special meeting' voted to move the Juvenile Detention Center.
Under the proposal -- the city would buy a building on highway 12 -- across from the Wal-Mart Distribution Center -- and move the JDC to that location.
Final approval will come in the Next Quorum Court meeting.
Another issue headed to that final phase -- a motion made to buy space in the Center For Non-Profits that will house the county health department.
This means moving the department from highway 102 to the more central location.
