Reported by: Liz Hogan Sunday, Jun 17, 2007 @10:25pm CDT According to sources close to the investigation -- just before dark on Friday search crews found a purse belonging to 29 year old Alicia Minton-- an important piece to the puzzle surrounding her disappearance and a piece of evidence keeping search teams near the Two-Ton water intake station. Divers are investigating any objects of interest -- meaning anything that shows up on sonar screens or underwater cameras. Starting Sunday, the company, Texas EquuSearch-- a non-profit search and rescue organization-- joined the other agencies in the hunt for Minton. These are the last known pictures of Minton-- taken by a surveillance camera on the day she disappeared. Rogers Police Department released the pictures but will not say where they were taken. The Benton County Sheriff's Office says Minton's case is still classified as a missing person and still will not say if Minton's ex-boyfriend, Randall Todd Greenway (who was arrested for beating Minton last year), is a person of interest or suspect in the case. He sits in the Benton County Jail on unrelated charges. Friends of Minton set up a website offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps solve this mystery. Minton's friends are also working on putting together a foot search along the Beaver Lake shorelines-- but they need your help. If you'd like to volunteer, visit www.missingaliciaminton.com and email them your information.
