Reported by: Lisa Brence Thursday, Jan 3, 2008 @02:01pm CST The city of Austin, Texas is looking to upgrade the way it recycles. The city has hired a California firm to create a "zero-waste" plan that hopes to achieve a waste-free environment by the year 2040. Twenty percent of that goal could start as early as 2012.
