Bio based Insulation manufactures soy based foam spray to insulate your house.
Porter says this spray comes out as a liquid and expands a hundred times to fill in air leaks.
"Bio Based Insulation is a poly foam spray that is manufactured using soybean as opposed to petroleum. It's typical insulation that you can put in a home or in a commercial building." said Robert Porter, Vice President of Operations.
Filling in the air leaks help reduce the cost of your energy bills by keeping a constant temperature in your home.
The spray foam reduces airborne dust and fibers.
It also improves indoor air quality by not supporting mold growth.

The foam spray also help with your health by blocking irritants and allergens.
"It's environmentally friendly for two reasons. One it makes a structure extremely energy efficient and help reduce heating and cooling bills..secondly we replaced some of the petroleum products that goes in the spray foam with soybean oil" said Robert Porter.
Porter also says high heating and cooling bills are usually caused by air leakage and says the foam helps cut down on the amount of air leakage and this could reduce your energy bill up to fifty percent.
