The Benton county Sheriff's office has a new computerized system that mails out postcards notifying residents if a level 3 or 4 sex offender moves into their neighborhood.
The program was specially built by Benton county's GIS department for the Sheriff's office.
The postcards have a picture and description of the sex offender.
In July the system will be put online for the public to type in their address to see if a level 3 or 4 sex offender lives near them. -
