Reported by: Lisa Brence Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @08:42pm CST If you're heading out of town for the holidays, you may be shelling out more cash. Some airlines are tacking on extra fees during peak travel dates. American, Delta, Continental, and U.S. Airways have added a ten dollar surcharge to flights around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve. That's an extra ten bucks each way. The specific travel dates affected are November 29 - 30, December 19, December 26 - 27, and January 2 - 3, 2010.
