One person catching on fire is a serious accident. Seventeen people burning at the same time is a Guinness World Record. These Ohio folks were trying to break a Spanish record of "most people on fire simultaneously." The number to beat was 12, and that record went down in flames as 17 people in Bainbridge Township doused themselves with flammable liquids, were lit on fire, and suffered through it for almost 44 seconds! The Guinness people were on hand to confirm the new record. And in case you're wondering: yes, these guys wore masks and flame retardant clothes when they pulled this stunt.
