KNWA-TV VIEWER’S CLUB CARD OFFICIAL RULES

The Viewer’s Club Card (VCC) is: a discount and cash giveaway card available to any person who applies for it. Each card will be issued with a key tag and each card/tag set will have a unique number.  The holder of the VCC can use it at any of the identified participants (see official participant list) as long as its use is within guidelines of the participant agreement with KNWA-TV.  Use of the VCC must comply with all applicable laws. The VCC itself does not hold any cash value.

How to obtain the VCC:  The VCC can be obtained by filling out an application 1) in person at the KNWA-TV studios in Fayetteville or at a station event 2) on the internet at www.nwahomepage.com or  3) by mailing an application to KNWA-TV, 15 South Block Street, Suite 101 – Fayetteville, AR 72701.   Only one card per person will be issued.

CONTEST DATES:  M-F. November 4, 2004 until further notice.  KNWA-TV reserves the right to temporarily suspend contest without notice.

CONTEST OVERVIEW:  During the 6 and 10pm newscasts one VCC number will be identified through a computer program choosing a number at random from the eligible member base.  The registered cardholder has between 8am and 5pm the following business day to contact KNWA-TV at a toll-free number 1-866-WIN-KNWA.  KNWA-TV will coordinate a time with winner to physically claim their prize.  All prizes must be claimed in person at the KNWA-TV studios within 30 days of winning.  Chosen VCC’s for Prize Giveaway will become ineligible for contest participation within a 3 month window.  Windows are defined as Jan 1-Mar. 31, Apr. 1-June30, Jul 1-Sept. 30, Oct. 1-Dec. 31 of each calendar year.

TO WIN:  The Person must have their card number broadcast on the air during the 6 & 10pm news Monday – Friday. 

TO CLAIM PRIZE:  The holder of the card will have from 8am to 5pm the following business day to call the KNWA-TV offices (479-571-5100) to claim the prize and coordinate the time for them to pick-up the prize.  The winner must pick-up their prize at the KNWA-TV studio (Fayetteville, AR) and provide proof of age, address, Social Security Card or Valid Driver’s License.   The winner must show their Viewer’s Club Card as proof of ownership.  Persons less than 18 years of age are eligible to hold winning VCC numbers.  However, those VCC’s of persons under the age of 18 will be considered the property of their parent or legal guardian.  Prizes will be awarded to the winning card represented by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18.  If the winning VCC holder is unable to present proof of guardianship, person becomes ineligible for prize.  All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification or the prize will be voided.

PRIZES:  Chance to win $200 each weeknight.

Official Rules:  Rules and prizes are subject to change without prior notification.  Official rules will be available at the KNWA-TV Fayetteville and KFTA-TV Fort Smith office and posted on the internet at www.nwahomepage.com. The most recently dated contest rules in the KNWA-TV public file will supercede all other rules.

Exclusions:  Employees of KNWA-TV and Nexstar Broadcasting are not eligible to win the on-air prizes.  They are eligible to participate in all other aspects of the VCC.
