Bentonville to Hold Public 8th St. Design Hearing

The City of Bentonville will host a public design hearing Thursday for the proposed I-540 and Hwy 62 Interchange as well as planned improvements to 8th Street.
The hearing will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Bentonville Fire Department training room at 800 SW A Street.
Participants will have an opportunity to review the proposed design and learn more about planned roadway and interchange improvements.
City of Bentonville staff members and project team members will be on hand to take questions.
The proposed project will reconstruct 8th Street Between Southwest I and Moberly Lane to a four and five-lane urban roadway.
The project would also extend 8th street from Moberly Lane East to Highway 71 and provide a new interchange at the intersection of 8th Street and Highway 71.
The forum will have an open house format with no formal presentations planned.
