Congressman Tom Cotton is in the news for sharing his opinions on women in military combat.

According to CBSNews.com, Cotton told radio host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday that women shouldn't be allowed to serve in infantry combat roles because they could "impair the mission."
The website quotes Cotton as saying, "To have women serving in infantry, though, could impair the mission - essential tasks of units. And that's been proven study after study, just a matter of -- it's nature, upper-body strength, and physical movements, and speed, and endurance and so forth."

Cotton, who is in his first term, was recently named "most likely to succeed" by Politico.com.
