Local Lawmaker Proposes Extension to Term Limits

Republican Senator Jon Woods of Springdale and Democrat Warwick Sabin recently proposed a constitutional amendment that would extend ter limits and establish an independent commission to set annual salaries for elected officials, among other things.
The measure would also double the "cooling off" period for legilsators from one to two years before they can become a lobbyist.
