Students celebrated the gift of an education Saturday night in Fayetteville.
The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas is a community supported effort, creating better, brighter futures for single parent families by offering encouragement and access to higher education.
The organization hosted a Cajun Scholarship Social at Scarpinos and invited scholarship recipients and their families.
"For our students, they really see in a really tangible way how many people in our community support their efforts in pursuing an education," said Jody Dilday, Executive Director at SPSF NWA.
Supporters of the SPSF also enjoyed the night with musical entertainment, dance lessons, and of course some classic Cajun food catered by Cafe Rue Orleans.
