Focusing on the future and learning life skills is at the core of the non-profit A Level Up.

The leadership program helps young students learn the skills they have to acheive their goals in life.

Ron Harris, the founder of the program, said, "We believe that every child is destined for greatness. Our goals are to help young people serve and live and to walk in their gifts and talents and their callings.

Students taking part believe it gives them a leg up on what's to come in life and a better understanding of what they have to do to accomplish anything.

Student Madison Sizemore said, "Plans your future and finds out what you want to do and makes you a leader in your community and doing better for others. It's a good thing because it helps you decide what you want to be and helps you be a leader and not follow what everybody else does.

Organizers hope the program continues to make a difference in young people's lives while impacting the community.
