For some, the food on Super Bowl Sunday is almost as important as the big game.
And for many Pizza and wings seem to be the go-to grub.
The National Restaurant Association says that nearly 48 million Americans order takeout for the Super Bowl, with chicken wings and pizza being ranked as the most-eaten snacks during the big game.

According to the National Chicken Council's 2013 Wing Report (yes this is a real thing) more than 1.23 billion wing portions will be consumed by the end of Super Bowl weekend.
Let's put that in perspective, if you laid all those wings end to end, they would stretch from San Francisco all the way to Baltimore twenty seven times.
But here's an interesting fact: Super Bowl wing consumption is actually down from last years numbers and the price is only going up.
Wings currently the most expensive part of the bird.
