Fort Smith Woman Strangled to Death

Fort Smith Police say Sakounsouk Vilayhong 50, was found strangled to death lying in her living room floor.

 

Vilayhong's husband came home from work on Thursday, January 24th around 4p.m and found his wife laying on the living room floor not breathing, say police.

 

Police say that Vilayhong spent the majority of the day at a local casino. It is believed she arrived at the Pocola, Oklahoma Choctaw Casino at around 8:30a.m and left around 1:50p.m on Thursday.

 

Sakounsouk Vilayhong's body was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiners Office in Little Rock. The investigation is still on-going, and at this time there are no known suspects or persons of interest. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Fort Smith Police Department.
