Naturals to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of "The Sandlot"

The Writer, director and narrator of the film "The Sandlot" will help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film at Arvest Ballpark on Sunday.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are teaming up with Twentieth Century Fox for a post-game screening and celebration on April 21st as a part of the 20th Anniversary Sandlot Tour.
Arvest Ballpark will be the third stop on the tour which will visit several major and minor league ballparks over the year.

David Mickey Evans who wrote, directed and narrated the film, will introduce the show, share stories of his inspiration for the movie and meet with the audience for signings and photographs after the movie is shown on the outfield video board.

At the end of the night, there will be Sandlot merchandise for sale including pictures, scripts baseballs and more.

Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the "Sandlot Baseball Field Program" which coordinates baseball field renovations across the country.
Arvest Ballpark will be the third stop on the Sandlot Tour which will visit several major and minor league ballparks over the year.
