Ringing in the New Year
As the day progresses, so will the crowd of revelers in New York's Times Square as we get closer to ringing in 2013. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to be there first-hand to watch the ball drop at the stroke of midnight and welcome the new year. There will also be thousands of extra officers on duty.

Preparing for New Year's Eve
Cab companies are bracing for one of their busiest nights of the year. They suggest calling early to reserve a cab because wait times could be more than an hour. And if you wait until 2:00 am drivers may already be booked.

Fiscal Cliff Frustration
As the clock counts down to the new year, we're also inching closer to the edge of the so-called "fiscal cliff." With time running out, leaders in the U.S. Senate are apparently deadlocked over tax rate income levels. Experts say the combination of spending cuts and tax increases could trigger a new recession. Congress and the White House have until midnight Tuesday morning to stop it.

Church's Last Service
A Springdale congregation held its final service Sunday, after being uprooted to make way for a new 540 interchange. Back in September, the city told Victory Church it had 90 days to move. The city made the church an offer for the land but the church rejected it saying the amount wasn't enough to cover their moving costs. But, Springdale officials say there's not much room to negotiate since this is a federal project. Victory filed suit and is now having the property re-appraised by another company to counter the offer. There's still no word yet on how much the church is asking for or when they will go to court.

Capital Murder Court Dates
Police are still trying to find a motive, and the exact cause of death in a gruesome capital murder case in Washington County. As we first told you Friday, police arrested four people on charges of capital murder in the beating death of a Prairie Grove man. Deputes say Heather Swain, James Patton, and brothers Anthony and Timothy Swinford admitted to beating the victim and leaving him in a driveway. Deputies found Ronnie Bradley's body on Thursday morning in the driveway of a home on Four Corners Road.
Investigators say alcohol was involved and that the victim knew the suspects. Bradley's body has since been sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy. Patton and the Swinford brothers are set to be officially charged Monday,  Heather Swain has a court date on Friday. We will keep you updated on the latest developments in this case.

Walgreens Robbery Arrest
New information in a Walgreens robbery case that was unsolved until now. Fayetteville police say the woman wanted for the crime is now in the Washington County Jail. Officers say they've been looking for this Springdale woman, April Gonzalez, since December 19th. That's when police say she walked into the pharmacy on east Mission Boulevard, with a weapon, handed the pharmacist a note demanding narcotics and took off with a couple bottles of pills. Police tracked her down Friday night. She's now charged with aggravated robbery..

Razorback's Newest Addition
Arkansas Razorback head coach Bret Bielema is adding to his coaching cabinet. Randy Shannon has agreed to take the linebackers coach position leaving the same position at TCU under Gary Patterson. Shannon is the former head coach at the University of Miami  where he served as defensive coordinator for eight years before moving up.
