Man Found Shot in Auto Zone Parking Lot

A man found shot in an Auto zone parking lot in Fort Smith this evening.
Police say 28 year old Sherron Zanders was found in the passenger seat of black Cadillac with multiple gun shot wounds. It happened just before 5 p.mm and police say the suspect is on the loose and armed with a gun.
"Officers have made contact with witnesses," said Cpl. Patricia Sullivan. "At this point its still preliminary, and we are trying to track down some of the leads."
Police say they are not sure where the shooting took place and no arrests have been made. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Zanders was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
