Arkansas Flu Activity Lowers

The spread of the flu across the Arkansas and other parts of the U.S. appears to have slowed, but officials won't know for weeks whether the cases have peaked, the CDC director said Friday.

According to the CDC, Arkansas flu activity level has lowered to moderate after two straight weeks of high levels activity.

So far, seven confirmed flu deaths have been reported around the Natural State.  This flu season is widespread in 41 states, meaning more than 50% of counties in the state is reporting activity.
