It's never been a cut and dry debate.

"This is an attack on women's health that should never have happened," Jill June, CEO and President of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland said.

"It's not up to us to decide when life begins, when it doesn't," 40 Days of Life protester, Aaron Clark said.

As the 12 week abortion bill waits on the governors signature, pro-life and pro-choice supporters are making their voices heard.

"We pray for eventually the end of abortion and respect for life for all forms of life," Clark said.

"I feel very badly for the women who are going to suffer as a result of this," June said.

June said the bill is a threat to standing laws.

"The are endangering the lives of women by forcing this kind of legislation in their attempt to overturn Roe V. Wade.

But Clark said he's fighting for a higher calling.

"God created life to begin at conception and the closer we get to that , I think the better and better we're getting."

For Planned Parenthood supporters, this legislation would do the opposite.

"To have politicians arbitrarily draw a line and prohibit a doctor from helping a woman under these circumstances I think is cruel," June said.

But it's closer to Clark's ultimate goal.

"I think it's a step in the right direction even if it may not outlaw abortion completely at least it gets us going in the right direction."

A direction that is undetermined until a swipe of Governor Beebe's pin early this week.
