According to a probable cause report, officers responded for a sexual assault report involving a three-year-old girl. Investigators said the victim told them 23-year-old Samuel Allen sexually assaulted her.

During an interview with police, officers said Allen told them he was sexually abused as a child and struggles with substance abuse. Authorities said Allen said he recently overdosed on methadone and that it was possible he could have committed the crime.
