University Of Arkansas Department Professor Dies While Skiing

According to Arkansas Newswire, Robert Gawley died on March 18th while skiing with friends. Known as Bob, Gawley was 64 years old. He served as an educator and researcher for more than 35 years and as a Distinguished Professor and chair of the of chemistry and biochemistry department at the University of Arkansas. Gawley is survived by his wife, Lorraine O'Brien Gawley and two sons.

Details about funeral and memorial services have not been finalized.
