Fayetteville Castle is Up for Sale

If your current home is feeling a little small, perhaps you would be interested purchasing Fayetteville's very own castle?

That's right, there's a castle in Northwest Arkansas and it's currently on the market - at a budget friendly $14.3 million.

The 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom "medieval castle" was featured on the Life section of NBC's Today show website and according to the article was the 4 year construction project of Joan and Bruce Johnson.  The Johnsons built it to showcase their business, White River Hardwoods and they say they hope to sell it to someone who "can appreciate all of its intricate architectural detail."

The mansion is known as the Dromborg Castle and is somewhat remotely located on the top of a hill at 2991 South City Lake Road in Fayetteville.

According to our very informal experiment, using a mortgage calculator online, the estimated monthly mortgage payment at the list price and with a 20% down payment is right around $75,000.
