Friday, several folks around Northwest Arkansas were taking a day off work to play with co-workers, all while raising money for kids.

It was the 4th annual Pagnozzi Charities Corporate Games.  Area businesses sent co-workers to participate in several contests, including football and volleyball.  But the competition was all in good fun, because the real winners were children in Northwest Arkansas.  The Corporate Games raised money to help kids in need play sports.

Former Arkansas Razorback baseball player and former St. Louis Cardinal, Tom Pagnozzi, founder of the Pagnozzi Charities, said, "Sports has become so specialized and expensive.  We don't want somebody not to be able to play a sport because they can't afford it, that's why we come in and pay their league fees or equipment, whatever they need."

In addition to the Corporate Games, the Pagnozzi Charities also holds an annual golf tournament, and in 2012 began a fishing tournament.
