Assange Gets Asylum and Powerball Has a Winner

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was offered asylum in Ecuador. Assange has been living at the country's embassy in London since June. He's accused of sexual assault in Sweden which he denies. His website, Wikileaks, is best known for posting sensitive documents from governments and corporations.
Powerball
One lucky person in Michigan is going to be very happy soon. Officials from the multi-state lottery say someone bought the winning ticket for the estimated $337 dollar Powerball jackpot but the winner has yet to claim the jackpot.

Louisiana Officers Ambushed
A community in Louisiana in mourning after a pair of shootings left two sheriffs deputies dead and another two wounded. The first shooting took place outside New Orleans where police say suspects opened fire on an officer working traffic then fled the scene. Police tracked the suspects to a nearby trailer where they then ambushed officers. The wounded deputies were taken to the hospital.
Elvis
A whole lot of burning love in Memphis Wednesday as candles lit up the Graceland mansion. Tens of thousands of Elvis Presley fans gathered for a vigil on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the singer's death. Presley died at age 42 from a heart attack, after battling prescription drug abuse.
