Officers arrested 30-year old Rogers resident George Lynn Perez on kidnapping and rape charges.
Perez is accused of abducting and raping a 10-year old girl.
According to a press release, the incident happened somewhere in the 500 block of East New Hope Road in Rogers.
Perez had a bond hearing Saturday morning. The judge set his bond at $500,000.
According to the Arkansas Crime Information Center`s website, Perez is a level three sex offender-- level three is described as a high risk to the public.
Investigators haven`t released many details on the case and Benton County Prosecutor Van Stone is with-holding the probable cause affidavit until Monday.
