Ft. Smith Police Seek EZ Mart Robber

Fort Smith Police need help finding the man who robbed an EZ Mart late Thursday night.

Police say they responded to the EZ Mart at 3411 Country Club just after 11 p.m Thursday night in reference to a robbery.
The clerk told investigators that a white male entered the store, grabbed a soft drink from the cooler and then demanded money from the clerk as the transaction took place.
The clerk told police that the suspect kept a hand under his jacket, suggesting he was armed.
The suspect left the store and was last seen traveling northbound in a dark colored mid to late 90's model Chevrolet extended cab Z71 with chrome running boards,black step pads and loud exhaust.
The suspect is described as being 30 to 35 years old, approximately 5'8'', 170-180 pounds with a thin beard.
He was wearing a dark gray jacket over a hooded sweatshirt. He also wore blue jeans, dark boots and a dark colored ball cap with what appears to be a "Hurley" logo on it.
