Powerball Fever Reaches Fever Pitch with Jackpot at $320 Million

LITTLE ROCK-- Forget March Madness, Powerball fever is spreading across the Natural State with the Lottery's jackpot back near-record territory after climbing to $320-million for Saturday night's drawing. While the $260-million grand prize slipped through the hands of players, there were two big winners of lesser amounts in Arkansas. Both matched four white ball numbers plus the red Powerball number. But Lottery staff is still waiting for winners to cash in their tickets at claim centers in Little Rock, Springdale, Jonesboro and Camden. Arkansas lottery officials say Saturday will be a busy Powerball day, with the crowds of people expected to make a last-minute stop into retailer lottery locations all over the state to buy a chance at the big prize.
