Some of the mobile homes in Sunbridge Village are already gone, leaving blank concrete slabs behind.
Others had to sell their trailers and are loading their lives into their trucks.
Residents say the owner of the Sunbridge Village mobile home park sold the land to developers and gave them eviction notices on February 14th.
But many say they simply don`t have the money to pick up and move.
"My husband`s gonna have to take his last check and go borrow at least about $1,000 and it`s hard," says Clara Burley, who has lived in the park for 11 years.
As more and more mobile home parks shut down, Cecilia Henderson says finding a new place is just as hard.
"i know i`ve been looking for places to move mine and it`s a lot of waiting lists," she says.
The owner of Sunbridge Village is out of town and could not be reached for comment...and though some residents are angry over the situation...Tom Edwards says he feels the owner was more than fair.
"It`s nothing we`re gonna get all upset about, we knew it was coming and it`s just something we have to live with."
