A Benton County judge says a county official will go to trial.
Monday, a judge denied a request from Benton County Coroner Kimberly Scotts attorneys to suppress the search of her home and some statements. During that search, deputies found dozens of prescription drugs they believe were stolen from death scenes.
Scott will now go to trial July 24, and faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted.
