A disagreement between the city of Lowell and a Springdale man will go to court on Wednesday in Benton County. The mayor of Lowell says Ray Dotson has a restored stagecoach that belongs to the city. Dotson says Lowell owes him thousands of dollars. According to both sides of the argument, Dotson was originally supposed to store the stagecoach except when the city of Lowell needed it for city events. Dotson claims that agreement was made between himself and the former mayor and that the new mayor has an obligation to honor that agreement. However, the current mayor says he cant honor any agreement made before he took office because there is no such agreement in writing.
