Vision Impaired Program Offered In Springdale

Finding a job is difficult for anyone, but it's almost impossible for those who are vision impaired. However, a new program being used at the Northwest Technical Center in Springdale offers hope.
Jane Klein teaches the six-week course which allows students to work with a program called "Zoom Text". Basically, the software magnifies a computer screen making it easier to navigate and read the font.
Melody Moore says the program has opened up a whole new world for her and she is excited about the possibility of going back to work, despite the fact that she is legally blind.
