The National Weather Service has just confirmed the storm that ripped through Cincinnati was an EF3 tornado.

EMS officials confirm three people are dead after the twister hit Cincinnati. At least ten people were hospitalized after the storm, many of whom are still in serious condition.

Extensive damage has been reported: trees down, 14 houses destroyed, dozens others damaged. The Cincinnati fire station has also been destroyed.

EMS workers say they rescued some who were trapped in buildings and houses.  They encourage anyone with a missing persons report to notify the Washington County Sherriff's Office.

Power trucks are on scene working on restoring power so EMS can continue working.

We have a crew on the scene and will bring you the very latest on the situation as it becomes available.
