A high-speed pursuit Sunday afternoon spanned 50 miles of Northwest Arkansas and caught the attention of numerous law enforcment agencies.
It started when Springdale police attempted to pull over an erratic driver and he fled. The man led police on a chase that reached speeds of nearly 100 miles per hour through Springdale, Fayetteville, Goshen, Lowell and Rogers.
Finally the driver crashed into a Springdale cruiser... landing both in a ditch.
There were no injuries.
Clinton Dees was arrested and charged with two counts of flight from an officer, aggravated assault on a police officer and other charges. Dees was charged with aggravated assault for ramming an officer`s police car in benton county.
