Drug Crime Up In Benton County

Major drug arrest in Benton County went up twenty percent last year. Fifty-nine arrest were made in 2005. Benton County Deputies attribute the addition to their drug task and a population boom for the extra arrest. Benton county added a drug interdiction team to the force this past October. The team looks for drug traffickers on Benton County roads and highways.
