Monday, Attorney General Mike Beebe approved the ballot title for a proposed constitutional amendment to raise the state`s minimum wage.
The coalition `Give Arkansas A Raise Now` is backing the initiative. The group must now collect over eighty-thousand signatures in order to get the measure on the November ballot.
If passed, wages would increase from $5.15 an hour to $6.15 an hour.
