One in three deaths among Hispanic women is cause by either heart disease or stroke. This is National Heart month. As part of this months events, members of the American Heart Association are taking extra steps to get the word out to Hispanic women. Heart disease is the number one killer among all women. It will effect almost 40 percent of them. Smoking, obesity, high blood pressure are just a few of the risk factors.
