One big question continues to hang over Tuesday night`s events...who was the man shot that morning by Arkansas State Police?
The Benton County Sheriff`s Office continues to investigate Tuesday morning`s events and is trying to determing exactly where all the confusion came from.
Early Tuesday someone notified authorities that a man resembling Michigan fugitive Adam Leadford was walking along Highway 412 west of Tontitown.
Arkansas State Police and Benton County Deputies arrived on the scene and got the suspect to lay on his back. But according to police, he was uncooperative when asked to show his hands.
A state trooper shot the suspect in the abdomen and he later died.
Benton County authorities said the suspect was believed to be Leadford but had not confirmed it. The two were said to be very similar in appearance.
As of Tuesday night the man killed on Highway 412 still had not been identified.
