Updated: April 17, 2007
Some folks in Benton County are without homes after Sundays devastating storms and we know many of you are trying to figure out how to get things back in order If you are trying to figure out how to continue receiving your mail the US Post Office suggests a few options. You can call the post office and put your mail on hold and pick it up once a week. Another option is to temporarily forward your mail to where you are staying. If you dont know where you`ll be you can choose to rent a box in the post office. Aside from mail, there are many other issues like lost documents. If your social security card is gone, you can go online and download an application but they will need some sort of ID. Birth certificates can be ordered online at www.vitalchek.com or by calling the toll free number, 1-866-209-9482. Many people are on daily medications. If you`ve lost all your supplies, pharmacists suggest you go to your regular pharmacy and they should recognize you and know your meds. If you dont have that option tell the pharmacist as much information you can about your condition and they can give you an emergency supply.
