"No question, one of the biggest problems we have to deal with is meth."
We`ll call him John. He`s been undercover for the drug task force for almost three years.
John says everyone of the suspects arrested over the weekend had something to do with methamphetamine. Police hope they`ve made a dent in the local meth trade.
John says, "A lot of time we`ll arrest several people who all know each other. But none of these people knew each other. So we impacted seven different organizations."
One bust was pure luck. A suspect was spotted driving in the lane next to John on his way back to the jail. John pulled the vehicle over, found drugs, money and even a loaded gun. But that wasn`t all.
John says, "Unfortunately the driver had his two year old child in the back seat of the car. That`s something we really hate to see even as undercover officers. But we were able to get that child out of that situation."
