The Education Research Center assessed states across the nation on how they incorporate technology in grades K through 12.
They gave Arkansas an overall b minus.
Director of District Rechnology Programs in Fayetteville, Susan Cromwell, says the overall rating is accurate. The schools were graded on three areas; access to technology, use of technology and the capacity to use the technology.
Cromwell says Arkansas received a poor rating on tracking the students as they learn more about computers.
Cromwell says students ability to keep up with the technological world is essential.
The overall rating of the nation was a C minus.
