On the day a Fayetteville woman was to report to a mental hospital, police say it appears she lit her house on fire then shot herself in the head.
Tuesdays incident comes just six months after 38 year old Joliet Jermanon was charged with pouring gasoline around her childs bed and tying her mother to a wheelchair. She pleaded innocent and bonded out.
Jermanon was taken to Washington Regional Hospital and died a short time later.
Firefighters say her friend called 9-1-1. He was the one who was going to take Jermanon to get a mental evaluation.
