Former Razorback football player Mitch Mustain has inked a deal to play Major League Baseball.

According to Mustain, he has signed a rookie free agent contract with the Chicago White Sox as a right-handed pitcher.

Mustain says he will head to Glendale, Arizona, for spring training camp on March 8.

The former Hog QB had planned to play in the Arena Football League this year, but says he's putting those plans on hold to pursue a career in pro baseball.

KNWA Aaron Nolan recently sat down with Mustain for an exclusive interview about his time as a Razorback, his decision to leave the University of Arkansas, and about his future.  To watch that story, CLICK HERE.
