Miranda Manning said she tried to protect her cat after two of the neighbors dogs got in the front door of her house.
"I tried to stop them...but the dogs started jumping on me," she said.
Two dogs from across the street managed to get in the front door and got into a confrontation with Miranda`s cat Rosie.
The cat scratched her several times and both dogs bit and scratched her.
"I was bleeding on both my arms and down half my legs...I did not know I was bleeding till my mom saw me and told me and then I got freaked out."
Paramedics took her to Northwest Medical Center in Springdale where she got treatment for her wounds.
Miranda`s step-father says the dog`s have gotten loose before.
The owners of the dogs were not home.
Lowell police took one of the dogs, but couldn`t catch the other one, it`s still running loose in the neighborhood.
They say as soon as the owners come home they will go back and get the other dog.
Police say the dogs will then be quarantined for 10 days.
