Taking the Plunge to Tackle a Dream and Battling for a Mockingjay Pin

In British Columbia, a group of people hoisted a woman in a wheelchair over a bridge for her first bungee jump. The 25 year old woman took the plunge after winning a contest sponsored by an adventure company specializing in helping people with disabilities achieve their extreme sport dreams.
In New york City you can train like a tribute. The New york Sports Club is offering a workout designed after the movie "The Hunger Games." In keeping with the spirit of the games, the class is also a contest. The person who does the most circuits gets a mockingjay pin like the one in the book. Fortunately the punishment for losing isn't death, just a great workout.
In Boston, a cat survived a fall from the 19th floor of an apartment building. Not only did Sugar live through the drop, she also escaped with just minor injuries. Workers from the Animal Rescue League found a bit of bruising on her lungs but Sugar's bones were intact. Rescuers are calling her a miracle cat. They estimate she fell between 150 and 200 feet.
