Friday Night Apartment Fire

A fire at Park Apartments in Fayetteville broke out Friday night.

Fire department Battalion Chief Mauro Campos says that about 60% of the apartment was engulfed in flames.

First responders on the scene say that one person was home at the time of the fire and was treated for smoke inhilation. 

Also injured in the fire, a firefighter separated his shoulder and was treated at Washington County Regional Center.

Chief Campos says this a great time to check smoke detectors in order to keep this from happening from you.
