Owl Creek Elementary is slated to start classes August 21st, but a road leading up to the school came up short.
Rupple road already existed before the school was built but an extension to that road is six feet too narrow.
City officials say tax payer dollars funded the extension and something must be done to make it right.
Once reimbursed for the mistake, the city can use the money to install traffic lights or plant trees along the road.
