Still Climbing: Gas Prices Inch Closer to $4

The price has increased 3.5 cents since last week. That compares to the national average, which has jumped 1.4 cents over that same period of time. The current national average sits just under four dollars per gallon at $3.91/gallon.
Including the change in gas prices in Arkansas during the past week, prices yesterday were 17.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 21.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 16.8 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 17.2 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
